Off Topic Posts
There’s been a major issue lately with off topic posts. Yes, we may have the occasional troll who posts just to get a reaction but there are also members who just don’t take the time to go through the measures to be considerate.
If a post is off topic (meaning it has nothing to do with the show or something related to i.e. actors, producers, promotion) then simply title your post “OT: [whatever the subject is].” It will clarify that your post is off topic for people who don’t like reading them. And this isn’t just to TribeMemberKel and people who go out of their way to be obnoxious but there are some legitimate fan club members such as HAPPYGOLUCKY3, who seems to be as much of a loose canon/hyper child on this board as he does in the chatroom. If you don’t have the intellect to correspond with people of higher IQs, don’t get a computer and don’t use the Internet. It’s just a burden to people who were here first and are up to par. And if this doesn’t change, I will have to delete this board and start one where I can moderate.

I don’t get it though...if people open a post that’s OT and then realize it’s OT and close it, what exactly is the harm?

But what if someone posts something interesting in an OT post and you don’t open it because it’s labeled OT and you hate OT posts but then you don’t read what it says and it’s interesting? Isn’t it better to open everything and then decide? |
