Kind of like "The Juror"
I just realized what irritated me so much about the last episode. Did anyone see the film, The Juror? “The Witness” sort of ripped that plot off. Any thoughts?

No, it didn’t rip it off! The Juror is a action-packed thriller and the stakes are higher. This simply had a moral dilemma because of a predicament Darla was in and was more drama-based than action-based. Henry Adams doesn’t copy other ideas; the staff is too brilliant.

That aside, Carlton, they are very similar in plot. I thought the same thing.

I doubt the writer has even seen the film. Just a coincidence. There are only six story ideas really so everyone just sort of copies each other.

Or the writer might have loved the movie and decided to do an episode inspired by it. Other TV shows do that too.

They’re nothing alike. I haven’t seen the movie but I remember the trailer and it just seemed like it was a thriller, not a drama-driven story.
