Criticism
No offense to Cookie but can we please lay off the criticism of the episodes? Yes, maybe this hasn’t been the best season but the ratings are bouncing up and down and the show is in jeopardy. Since we are the ones who tune in every week, we should be supporting it at all costs.

This is a private fan board. I doubt anyone at the network is reading this. Writers and directors, yes, to get feedback and we are giving it to them. But nobody’s going to cancel it because the fans dislike an episode.

But if we say “That episode was great” and someone who doesn’t watch the show stumbles upon it, they’ll be more likely to tune in. But if it says “That episode sucked,” they’ll think “I’m glad I don’t watch this.”

Why would someone who’s never seen the show and doesn’t have an opinion on it drop by a fan site for a show he’s never watched to decide whether or not he should watch it? And expect a fan site to be able to evaluate fairly whether they should tune in, expecting the fans to be saying whether the show they are fans of is worthy of being watched or not?

They don’t expect the fans to say whether it’s worthy of being watched or not. They expect them just to love it, not criticize it. That’s my point.

Okay but you’re missing my point which is that criticism isn’t going to hurt the show...if it’s read by TPTB, it will help it. They will then work harder to create more appealing storylines which attract new audiences who happen to tune in.
