ETOnline article on Graham D. Petros
Wondering about the hunky new addition to “Henry Adams”? Graham D. Petros hails from the East Coast, born in Boston but spent his adulthood in New York, appearing in many off-Broadway shows and playing Olly in the short-lived show, “Hats Off!” Petros ventured to Los Angeles three years ago and landed a regular spot in NBC’s “Days of Our Lives” as another hunky newcomer, Carlos the sexy mechanic. “I don’t think the fans were really receptive to him which I was actually thankful for…nobody wants to get stuck on a soap opera.” Who can blame him? One of his proudest moments was doing Shakespeare in the Park. “As a trained actor, you don’t want to spend too much time doing the trivial.” Sounds like the sometimes silly/sometimes tear-jerking “Henry Adams” might be right up his alley.

* Sepia’s note: They didn’t mention that he was also a guest star on “Adam’s World.”

Is he really going to be that popular of a character? Why focus on him in ETOnline?

Probably just what’s being talked about in the TV world since the series just started up again and most shows began in September of last year.

No, publicity is stemmed through the actor’s representation, usually publicists. Sometimes the magazine pursue them but most of the time, it’s the actors who suggest an interview so he’s probably just trying to exploit his role on the best TV show on Earth.

This guy is a major jackass....I can’t believe they added him to the cast.

You mean the character or him as an actor? ‘Cause you haven’t met him in real life so it’s hard to make an assessment like that.

No, just the guy. He seems so self-important.

I don’t like the character either but he was supposed to be annoying in this episode so he might become better.

Re: ETOnline article on Graham D. Petros
He’s just not a good actor. He played someone sleazy by acting sleazy. But he forgot that everyone is supposed to be in love with them. Unless we find out later that they were under a spell, there’s no reason for smart people like Darla and the Professor to fall in love with him (figuratively) unless he was two-faced, and didn’t just play one obvious side of the character. I hate when people go for the clichéd rather than finding the subtextual, more realistic.

Re: ETOnline article on Graham D. Petros
I agree. He just doesn’t fit into the Henry Adams world, where everyone is supportive and nice of each other. If he’s a recurring character, he’s just going to add unnecessary conflict to the series. The only conflict should be the monsters and Master Himas, not sleazy guys trying to pick up on Darla (who is too strong to be the love interest).

Re: ETOnline article on Graham D. Petros
Good point. Darla loses her intellect if she gives this guy the attention he obviously wants...and if she doesn’t, there’s no reason to keep him around since none of the other characters have a relationship with him that’s interesting to watch.

She could just have the wool pulled over her eyes, blinded by his looks. Not that farfetched or unordinary.
