After some yo-yo ratings and a letter writing campaign from its large tight-knit following, “The Adventures of Henry Adams” is back for a 13-part third season. The network has renewed it as a test basis to see if it has the potential to continue. A hunky new character might help bring in the ladies and the romance between Henry and Darla may or may not simmer up down the road. Old time fans can look forward to the classic goofy plots starring spells gone wrong, mental mix-ups, and the occasional tear-jerker dramatic episode, designed to give Broadway-trained actress Gina Sorensen a chance to shine.

I’m just glad they complimented Gina Sorensen. I think our next campaign should be for her to get consideration for an Emmy.

It’s a waste of time. They don’t honor actors who do cable shows, unless it’s an edgier network and a more popular show. Even though I obviously agree that she deserves not only a nomination but a win.
